Christopher's Start Time is around 10:40 AM (PST) - No. 204 Trophy Truck Spec
Christopher Polvoorde and Co-driver, Drew Becerra[http://], are gearing up for the longest race of the year, The 2022 SCORE International Baja 1000. The total distance for this race is 828 miles through the mountains, ranches, deserts, and coasts of the Baja Peninsula.
With the 1st place finish at the Baja 400, Christopher in his No. 204 Ford Raptor will be the first Spec Truck off the line.
Christopher will not be the only driver of the No. 204 Trophy Truck Spec during this 828 mile race... The CP94 team has brought on Ray Griffith and his co-driver/navigator, Adam Carpenter, to help get the Optima Batteries powered Ford Machine to the finish line! Ray is an extraordinary wheel man who has tons of experience in various classes of desert racing including Trophy Truck, Trophy Truck Spec, and Class 1.
Christopher will start the race and drive to about RM 300, where Ray and Adam hop in and take the truck from RM 300 to about RM 680. At RM 680, Christopher and Drew get back in the truck for the final leg to the checkered flag.
"I am really stoked to have Ray and Adam join the team for this 1000! We've talked about teaming up before, so to make it happen is really cool and I think we will have a solid team for this race. This race is over 800 miles long so it makes more sense to have a fresh driver hop in rather than trying to push for 16 hours, especially with how competitive this class is."
