Christopher went on a quick multi-state tour to hit a few of the coolest motorsports events that the Optima Batteries team has to offer! You'll find a quick summary of each event below.
Moab 4x4 EXPO - Moab, UT Christopher's first stop was in Moab for some incredible off-road adventures in his 2019 Ford Ranger which dominated the trails! He was the celebrity trail guide for 2 of the drives leading a number of Trucks, Jeeps, Crawlers, UTVs and the Optima Batteries Unimog through some tight 4x4 trails and rock crawling.
Christopher also had his 2020 Ford Transit and Ford Ranger Pro Lite on display at the vendor show. Motorsports fans were able to get up close and personal with these vehicles to see the craftsmanship and creativity that went into his Overland Conversion Transit built with Outside Van.
Optima Batteries High Performance Expo - Austin, TX The highlight of Christopher's trip to Austin was the SEMA 360 web interview with TV Personality, Mike Rowe! Christopher was sitting alongside James Clay, with Mike asking about racing and a walk through of the Mike Rowe Works Charity Go Kart Race where Christopher was a team Captain leading the race, until a wheel fell off the kart. "I've looked up to Mike Rowe since I was a kid watching Dirty Jobs, so being interviewed by him is something that I will never forget!" -Christopher Polvoorde
Aside from being star struck by his TV Idol, Christopher was busy giving numerous ride alongs in his Ford Ranger Pro Lite to industry leaders and media, participating in the Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street Car Challenge Invitational in a 2020 Ford Mustang GT, and going LIVE with both Tanner Foust in his Drift Taxi, and YouTube motorsport star, Cleetus McFarland in his Mustang Drift Car.
Christopher's Ford Ranger Pro Lite, the 2020 Ford Mustang GT, and the 2020 Ford Transit were all on display at Optima Batteries main booth!

About Christopher Polvoorde & CP Racing Team
Christopher Polvoorde was born on July 28th, 2000 and raised in the Racing mecca of Southern, CA. From a young age, Christopher had an adventurous spirit and a passion for the outdoors and racing. That passion leads Christopher’s life to this day where you can find him chasing sunsets year around on the hills of Mammoth Mt or the waters of the Colorado River. Surrounded by a team of Experts including Christopher’s father, Chip Polvoorde, who handles anything and everything, Crew Chief Jimmy Davidson who provides the fastest truck on the course week in and week out and driving coach Cory Kruseman who works with Christopher on his race craft and as his race spotter. With Christopher’s natural speed and a team like this, expectations are high. Christopher found success in a challenging 2020 season taking 2nd in the LOORRS Pro Lite Championship showcasing the team's continued determination to strive for greatness each and every race. In 2019 the CP94 team raced in both, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and the Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League for where Christopher swept the whole series winning all 7 races and the additional Red Bull Pro Lite Championship race making it a perfect 8 for 8 in the Midwest. With all that Christopher has going on it is hard to imagine but he is also a full-time College student at The University of San Diego on an academic scholarship after finishing high school with a 4.5 GPA. The future is bright for Christopher who takes it all in stride focusing on working hard and enjoying the ride.
