Christopher Polvoorde and His Ford Ranger Pro Lite End the LOORRS Season on a High Note

That's a Wrap for 2020!!

Christopher started the season off with a 1st place finish at Glen Helen so it is only fitting that he finished the same way he started, on top of the podium in the last race of the season! The round 10 first place finish was not without troubles in early qualifying and round 9. During his qualifying session for round 9, Christopher flipped his truck rolling twice before landing back on all 4 wheels where he was able to drive away into the hot pit to check for damage. All was good and he made it back out to lay down a solid lap until his right rear tire was ripped off the wheel, resulting in a second trip to the pits... After a quick tire change, he was able to make it around the track without incident and had the 3rd fastest lap securing the P3 start position, an incredible finish considering all the mishaps.

The crew had their work cutout for them with the wreck on Thursday and also after a chaotic round 9 race Friday. In round 9, Christopher was taken out twice and rear ended twice during a caution causing a ton of damage and requiring a transmission swap before the Finale the following day.

The fight throughout the weekend is telling of how determined Christopher and his team are when it comes to battling to stay on top. A shot at a podium finish for the championship was looking far fetched but each and every day Christopher and his crew continued to grind like no other to put the #94 Ford Ranger Pro Lite in the best position to succeed. Succeed they did, finishing off the season with a HUGE win to put Christopher in the 2nd position for the 2020 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Championship. This was his highest achieving season in the west coast series, second only to his 1st place championship in the Midwest Series last year where he won 8 of 8 races including the Pro Lite World Championship race.

"To cap this season off with a win and secure 2nd place in the championship has me so stoked! This whole season has been a rollercoaster with all the ups and downs. My guys give me one of the fastest trucks every time we hit the track and I'm just happy we were able to put it all together and stay in the points. I'm already looking forward to 2021 and putting this Ford Ranger in the #1 spot for the Championship!"  -Christopher Polvoorde
